Rockstar Energy has introduced their lineup for the Mayhem Festival and has included 24 venues all around the United States. The tour begins on July 5th and will last until August 10th hitting White River Amphitheater in July. While the festival will have some very big named groups, there are 4 stages with a main stage featuring the biggest names.
Who will be on the main stage? Avenged Sevenfold, Korn and Asking Alexandria.
Avenged Sevenfold will be playing hits from all 6 of their studio albums, but fans should expect a lot of songs coming from Hail to the King. The 2013 album is the band’s latest release and has hit songs, such as “Hail to the King” and “Shepherd of Fire.”
Korn is celebrating a long 20 years together and will surely bring the energy level to new heights during the tour. The Paradigm Shift is the band’s latest album, but only a few songs from their new release will be on the set list. Going off of their May performance, we can expect to hear “Falling Away from Me,” “Freak on a Leash” and “Never Never.”
Asking Alexandria is a Yorkshire band that is new compared to the other acts. The band has 3 albums to their name, but “From Death to Destiny” is by far their most popular yet. A few of the songs that will play played include “The Death of Me,” “Run Free” and “Break Down the Walls.” While newer, this band definitely brings the energy and will get the crowd pumping.
In total, the Mayhem Festival has 20 different bands that will be making an appearance. This is a night that you will never forget. The first show will be in California and will move east before finally coming back west to make a final stop in Texas on August 10th.
