Incubus is hitting the road in support of their latest album 8, their first release in six years. The band will join Jimmy Eat World on stage as part of a summer/fall tour across North America.
The tour will make stops in Camden, Boston, LA, Houston and Detroit in the U.S. The band will make one stop in Canada, and return to the U.S. for more dates in late August through October.
Jimmy Eat World will open for the band on all of the dates through the end of August before heading back out on a four-date tour in Europe. The band will play in Amsterdam, Reading, Nuremburg and Leeds.
Jimmy Eat World is also supporting their new album Integrity Blues.
Incubus will head out to play a handful of South American dates in Columbia, Ecuador, Chile, Brazil, Peru and Argentina. They return to the U.S. for more dates in October.
The band will be at the Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville, KY and the Santa Barbara Bowl. Incubus will also play a four-day stint in Vegas before heading to the Northside Festival.
Based in Calabasas, California, Incubus is an alternative rock band formed in 1991 by lead singer Brandon Boyd, Jose Pasillas on drums and lead guitarist Mike Einziger. The three members formed the band while they were still in Calabasas High School.
The band reached commercial success with the release of their 1999 album Make Yourself, which led to the band’s major hit “Drive.” Their follow-up albums Morning View and A Crow Left of the Murder… also achieved success.
The band’s sixth studio album – Light Grenades – made its debut at number one. Incubus released their newest album 8 in April, 2017 with “Nimble Bastard” as the lead single.
Throughout their career, Incubus has sold 23 million albums worldwide.
Based in Mesa, Arizona, Jimmy Eat World formed in 1993. The band reached commercial success in 2001 with the album Bleed American. The album spawned several singles, including “The Middle,” “Hear You Me,” “A Praise Chorus,” “Bleed American,” and “The Authority Song.”
The band’s follow-up album Futures in 2004 featured the number-one single “Pain.”
Jimmy Eat World’s sixth studio album Chase This Light was their highest charting release, peaking at number five on the Billboard 200.
The band’s latest release Integrity Blues was released in 2016. The album’s single “Sure and Certain” was announced on KROQ along with the release of the album.
