Santana – The Corazon Tour comes to White River Amphitheater
Santana is a living Latin legend and never needs an introduction. With over 100 million album sales, Santana is the leading selling Latin artist of all time. With the release of the Corazon album, Santana is on a tour with the same name to promote his new, fresh sound.
Upon releasing the album, Santana stated that he wanted to go back to his Latin roots. What does this mean? Many of the album’s songs are in Spanish and feature some of the biggest names ever to come out of Latin America.
Announcing the tour in 2013, fans were first able to see the show in Nashville. Santana seems to vary their set list often, but some songs always seem to make the cut. A few songs that fans will be excited to hear are: “Samba pa ti,” “Corazone espinado” and “Saideira.” The tour comes to an end in August, but fans will be excited to know that Santana will continue touring. Immediately following the tour’s end, Santana will hit the road with Rod Stewart. In fact, the Corazon Tour and the Rod Stewart tour overlap quite a bit.
Santana has already played part of the tour and fans seem to leave with the utmost satisfaction. Not only does Santana sound amazing, but he performs for over 2 hours straight.
Opening acts are the norm, but not with this show. There are zero opening acts and fans can expect to hear Santana the entire time. The music, performance and even the light show will leave fans in awe as Santana has never been this good before. All of the classics will be heard, but most of Santana’s newest songs will comprise the set list. You may even get to see a special guest take stage as many have seen during this tour, but don’t worry, we won’t ruin the surprise for you.
